Students meet Management, India meets Schindellegi

Today, 60 trade students and two faculity members of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in New Delhi joined the Kuehne + Nagel Headquarters in Schindellegi for an interactive workshop with members of the Kuehne + Nagel Management.

The visit is part of a one week program with the objective to enhance the cultural, educational and professional knowledge of the IIFT students. The program includes, amongst others, university lectures at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich (HWZ), interaction with the Swiss students and faculty, several company visits, cultural site visits and project assignments.

Proud to be part of the visit, at Kuehne + Nagel, Lothar Harings (CHRO), Stefan Paul (Member of the Management Board, responsible for Overland), Amit Sethi (SVP Overland), and Christian Berthold (Managing Director of the Kühne Foundation), met with the students to discuss about challenges, transformation and the future of logistics. The students, being well informed about Kuehne + Nagel and the logistics sector, quickly engaged in lively discussions and appreciated the open dialogue and exchange with the company's management.

IIFT is a government institution mainly responsible for foreign trade. The IIFT students attending this study week in Zurich are enrolled in an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Management. The students were accompanied by Dr. Sonya Sharma and Dr. Anup Nastik, both Program Directors and Lecturers at the Swiss Indian Business School in Zurich.
