Slovak Telekom outsources logistics to Kuehne + Nagel

Kuehne + Nagel Slovakia has been awarded a 5-year contract by Slovak Telekom to manage warehousing and distribution of its end-user products across the country.

In addition to national warehousing and distribution, Kuehne + Nagel is providing value-added services including shortening and coiling of cables, picking and packing as well as returns and complaints management. Slovak Telekom’s product range encompasses land line and cordless phones, cables, switchboards, modems, computer network infrastructure, mp3 players, telephone directories and promotional material.

Under the agreement, 60 Slovak Telekom staff and a fleet of 20 vehicles have transferred to Kuehne + Nagel and the company has set up implants at Slovak Telekom’s three national warehouses: Bratislava, Banksa Bystrica and Kosice (20,800 sqm in total). All operations will continue to be performed out of these locations.
