Reto Malfatti new Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel Mexico

Effective 15 July 2006, Reto Malfatti (52) has been appointed Managing Director of the Mexican Kuehne + Nagel company. He succeeds Ferdinand Kurt, who has moved to Toronto and has taken over as Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel Canada.

Reto Malfatti started his career with Kuehne + Nagel in Cairoin 1984, where he built up the company’s Egyptian organization. He then went on to work in several management positions in Switzerland, Spainand Portugal. From 2003 to 2006, the Swiss national was based in Istanbul, responsible for seafreight activities in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Reto Malfatti has a track record of achieving excellent results together with his teams, and has contributed to positioning Kuehne + Nagel among the leaders in the various markets.

“Prior to joining Kuehne + Nagel, I worked in Mexico, and it is good to be returning as part of the Mexican Kuehne + Nagel organisation.
