Puma renews national warehousing contract with Kuehne + Nagel France

Puma, one of the world's leading Sportlifestyle brands, has prolonged its existing relationship with Kuehne + Nagel for the warehousing and dispatch of men's and women's footwear in France.

The renewed three-year contract encompasses unloading of seafreight containers, goods check, palletisation and storage at Kuehne + Nagel’s Strasbourg/France warehouse. Upon receipt of orders from Puma, goods are prepared for distribution (picking/packing, labelling) and are fed into the customer’s national transport system for direct delivery to sports shops and retailers across France. Kuehne + Nagel has dedicated 11,000 sq metres at its multi-user facility to these operations.

Gérald Paya, Logistics Manager at Puma in France: “Footwear accounts for the largest proportion of our business, besides sports/lifestyle apparel and accessories, and new collections are launched ahead of every summer and winter season. Kuehne + Nagel has proved a highly reliable partner in meeting our specific requirements, flexibly adapting to and accommodating the seasonal fluctuations of our business.

Tobias Jerschke, Managing Director, Kuehne + Nagel France: “This third contract renewal is an expression of customer confidence and illustrates our capabilities to provide industry-specific logistics services to the sports retail sector.
