Kuehne+Nagel Saudi Arabia achieves AEO Certification

Kuehne+Nagel has become the first company to obtain an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) license for Customs Brokerage in Saudi Arabia. This newly introduced category of the Saudi AEO program previously covered only importers of record and logistics operators. With this achievement, we are now AEO certified as both a Logistics Operator and a Customs Broker!

This certification marks another step forward in Kuehne+Nagel's customs success story in Saudi Arabia. The local team established a customs brokerage department just one year ago. Today, customs brokerage activities have expanded across all major entry points—including air, sea, and land borders—allowing for seamless service to customers.

The new AEO certificate offers several benefits for Kuehne+Nagel customers, such as fewer physical inspections and priority clearance.

This milestone aligns with Kuehne+Nagel's global customs strategy, reinforcing the ambition to become a recognised customs broker worldwide powered by local expertise and market-focused solutions.
