Kuehne+Nagel Italy and adidas win “Logistics Company of the Year” for Mantova fulfilment centre
Kuehne+Nagel Italy and adidas have been awarded the prestigious title of “Logistics Company of the Year” at the 21st edition of the Logistics Award of the Year ceremony. The event was organised by Assologistica, Italy’s leading logistics association. It partnered with Euromerci, an Italian logistics trade media to celebrate companies that deliver added value through innovative solutions in logistics across technology, real estate, training, transport, and sustainability.

The award highlights the Mantova fulfilment centre, developed by Kuehne+Nagel for adidas in 2024, as a benchmark for ESG-driven innovation in logistics. Serving 36 countries and handling up to 500,000 items daily, the site exemplifies excellence in:
- Environmental impact: LEED-certified facility powered by renewable energy through a photovoltaic system and supported by sustainable multimodal transport solutions.
- Social responsibility: advanced process innovation combining human expertise and automation, fostering an inclusive workplace with 26 nationalities represented.
- Governance: strong public-private collaboration generating long-term benefits for the local area.
