Kuehne+Nagel Contract and Integrated Logistics Receives Outstanding Supplier Award from Bombardier
- Kuehne+Nagel wins Bombardier’s Diamond Certification Award for third consecutive year
- The company’s Des Plaines, IL fulfillment center, is recognized for its Indirect Goods and Services (IGS) operational performance in the areas of quality, delivery and competitiveness levels
Bombardier, a market-leading global company in the aviation business has awarded its Diamond Certification Award to Kuehne+Nagel for the third year in a row. The award, given for 2022, recognizes Kuehne+Nagel’s quality and delivery performance based on a combined solution across the company’s Contract Logistics and Integrated Logistics divisions.
Since 2018, Kuehne+Nagel has supported Bombardier’s main distribution center and aftermarket jet business through a 365/24 operation in Des Plaines, IL, which includes, among other services, transportation management, order consolidation, mode conversion and advanced performance tools. The warehouse is semi-automated with autonomous mobile robots supporting the team to consistently deliver excellence.
