Kuehne+Nagel awarded for Sustainability at Annual Global Supplier Conference

At this year´s Annual Global Supplier Conference organized by Airbus Defence and Space in Taufkirchen (Munich, Germany), Kuehne+Nagel was recognized with the ‘Sustainability Award’.

“Sustainability has many facets and this year we have recognized under this category one of our logistics service providers that is helping us in our operations and our warehouses and in meeting our sustainability targets – Kuehne+Nagel”, says Ignacio Armero, Head of Procurement, Sustainability and Risk Management at Airbus Defence and Space.  Philippe Marre, Head of Transport, Customs and Logistics at Airbus Defence and Space, adds: “In the  two-year collaboration with Kuehne-Nagel we reduced our environmental logistics footprint by reducing more than 40% of single plastic usage through the implementation of reusable plastic boxes and plastic bags.”
