Kuehne+Nagel and Danone extend logistics partnership in Poland for another seven years
Danone Sp. z o.o., part of the global food company Danone, extends its cooperation with Kuehne+Nagel in Poland for another seven years.

Danone Sp. z o.o., part of the global food company Danone, extends its cooperation with Kuehne+Nagel in Poland for another seven years. In conjunction, a new distribution center spanning 11,079 sqm has been opened in Ruda Śląska. The facility is equipped to store goods at a controlled temperature of 4 - 6°C, including co-packing in cold and ambient chambers. While unloading and loading goods, product integrity is ensured by insulated cooling aprons, gates and platforms.
The new distribution center sets new standards in terms of sustainable building technology, thanks to energy-saving LED lighting, motion sensors for online temperature control and a solar water heating system. Operations in the warehouse will be supported e.g. by lithium ion forklifts, which reduce electricity consumption.
