Kuehne + Nagel first-time winner of the National Logistics Award in Mexico

Concurrent with its 40th anniversary in Mexico, Kuehne + Nagel is the first winner of the new National Logistics Award.

Kuehne + Nagel won the category for Best Logistics Service Provider in the award’s first appearance. This new accolade recognizes the continuous investment in innovative client solutions and competitive supply chain management. The honor was bestowed during the opening ceremony of the ExpoLogistica trade show in Mexico City on July 4th, 2007.

“This is a testimony of what Kuehne + Nagel has accomplished in Mexico in the last 40 years, and recognition of our capabilities,” says Fernando Villar, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Mexico. “We are pioneers in developing new and innovative solutions, supporting client growth, and we are proud to be nominated as leaders in this industry by a panel of our peers and industry experts. This award further motivates us to continue to develop innovative logistics solutions, and remain a reliable partner for all of our clients – both current and future.”

Each year the Association of Logistics, Distribution and Traffic Executives, ExpoLogistica, and the Mexico National Secretary of the Economy identify the top candidates in the categories of Best Executive, Best Scholar, and Best Company. For 2007 the association introduced the new award, Best Logistics Provider.
