The results were announced in Atlanta June 26 at a gala dinner attended by leading executives from 3PLs and 3PL users, along with transportation partners, industry consultants and IT providers. eyefortransport is a leading provider of logistics and transportation information and services.

Award recipients were determined from votes cast by third-party logistics customers for the best logistics service providers in specific industry segments.

According to eyefortransport, voters said the attributes that make for a successful 3PL include flexibility and proactive problem solving, delivering on commitments and effective communications. Most said that the level of customer service is the single most accurate measure of a 3PL’s value to its customer.
