Schindellegi / Switzerland, December 16, 2008 – Effective 1 April 2009, Lothar Alexander Harings (48) will become a member of the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG, responsible for Global Human Resources.

For more than six years Lothar Alexander Harings has held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at T-Mobile International AG and was responsible for the international human resources activities for the Deutsche Telekom Group as well.

Klaus-Dieter Pietsch, who has been heading Kuehne + Nagel’s global human resources for more than 20 years, will retire as of 30 June 2009 after having trans­ferred his former responsibilities to Lothar Alexander Harings.
