Dell wins National Logistics Award

At Mexico’s most important logistics event “Expologística”, Dell, nominated by Kuehne + Nagel, has won the National Logistics Award. Each year this prestigious prize is given to a company in recognition of its excellent supply chain providing significant value to customers.

Sergio Pérez, Director of Operations & Logistics for Dell Mexico mentioned, “For Dell, being acknowledged with this important award means one more reason to be proud, and most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to remind our clients that Dell’s direct sales and distribution model works to perfection, not only in the United States, but also at a global level in a very consistent fashion. In partnering with Kuehne + Nagel we are able to design logistics solutions tailored to our clients’ needs, with a maximum possible flexibility and reliability.”

Kuehne + Nagel has been providing logistics solutions to Dell since 1996. The range of service covers an end-to-end solution from the plant in Austin, TX to the final customer in Mexico, utilizing Kuehne + Nagel’s specialized distribution capabilities, systems and infrastructure.

Ferdinand Kurt, Managing Director, Kuehne + Nagel Mexico, commented, “In working together with Dell over the past seven years we have constantly and successfully adapted and optimised logistics and information processes to changing market requirements. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dell for its confidence and recent decision to extend the business relationship with Kuehne + Nagel Mexico. We will continue to provide innovative concepts and solutions to support Dell’s commercial objectives.”
