Crestron strengthens partnership with Kuehne + Nagel in Belgium

Crestron, the world´s leader for advanced control and automation systems, is expanding its contract with Kuehne + Nagel Belgium and is bringing all its warehousing activities under one roof.

The successful cooperation between Crestron Europe and Kuehne + Nagel was established in 2003. To further support Crestron’s development, Kuehne + Nagel has now redesigned the complete logistics processes of its customer. Starting in January 2013, Kuehne + Nagel will employ about ten of Crestron´s logistics employees and will manage all logistics activities. Kuehne + Nagel will also invest in technical rooms and special installations to accomodate Crestron´s highly technical activities. With the new set-up Kuehne + Nagel is optimising the supply chain and reducing logistics costs.

Jacky Raymaekers, Crestron’s Financial and Services Director, says: “As a leader in the audio visual market we now link the quality of our products to a high-quality flow of logistics. On the other hand, we need a flexible approach for handling our logistics processes and a strong future orientation for our expansion. We look forward to this collaboration with Kuehne + Nagel, which will guarantee a strong and high-quality logistics foundation and benefit the growth of both Crestron and Kuehne + Nagel.”

Bert Claes, Director of Contract Logistics at Kuehne + Nagel Belgium, adds: “The extension of the contract with Crestron is a result of Kuehne + Nagel’s aim for continuous improvement. We always work closely together with the customer to identify and implement unique solutions which fit the specific requirements best.”
