Continental Tyre selects Kuehne + Nagel to manage warehouse operation in South Africa
Kuehne + Nagel has taken over the management of the plant warehouse operation for Continental Tyre S.A. (Pty) Ltd at their production premises in Port Elizabeth.
In the scope of the new contract, Kuehne + Nagel supports Continental Tyre’s original equipment and aftermarket dealer business in the South African market. The comprehensive service offering includes: receiving tyres from production, carrying out quality control checks, storage, inbound and outbound handling, picking and packing, inventory management as well as management of empty containers. In addition, Kuehne + Nagel will provide an external warehousing solution for overflow volumes in Port Elizabeth.
