“Best Logistics Service Provider Project Cargo”

Kuehne + Nagel was named “Best Logistics Service Provider Project Cargo” at the 2009 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs).

The annual AFSCAs, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious titles for the logistics industry in Asia, honour organisations that demonstrate leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. It is organised by Cargonews Asia, a renowned supply chain management newsletter, whose readership elects the award recipients.

At the AFSCAs’ gala dinner held in Hong Kong on April 22, Kuehne + Nagel was praised for having demonstrated its innovation and flexibility in project management. Kuehne + Nagel’s well-established network of project offices and specialists across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world reviews risks and liabilities for its customers and provides guidance to local regulations and laws, customs procedures and insurance coverage. With thorough experience in the industry, Kuehne + Nagel combines cutting-edge competitiveness with accuracy and reliability. Its globally standardised IT platform is another success factor allowing for web-based real-time communication with its worldwide customers.

“The award is a vote of confidence that recognises our outstanding performance in project transport management, which is just one of the many fields we cover with our global offering of integrated logistics and transport solutions,” said Andy Weber, Regional Manager of the Kuehne + Nagel Asia Pacific organisation.
